This project involved redesigning The Millennium Series as a cohesive and visually arresting book set. The concept centers on the main character, Lisbeth Salander, using her as the primary visual across all 3 covers. Each design reflects the book’s title through imagery (scales for Dragon Tattoo, fire for Played with Fire, and hornets for Hornets’ Nest) creating a unified yet varied system.

The covers use high-contrast imagery created with a threshold effect to emphasize a gritty, punk tone, paired with a tech-inspired typeface that references Lisbeth’s identity as a hacker. Bold, thematic color choices further differentiate each book while maintaining consistency across the series.
